OUR HISTORY
The Labour Community Services of Peel was created on December 18th, 1979. It is a project of the Peel Regional Labour Council in partnership with United Way of Greater Toronto, as the core funder. For over forty years, LCSP has been providing services for workers in the community.
OUR MISSION
To share Labour’s experience and knowledge by empowering workers through education, advocacy and volunteerism in order to build a vibrant, inclusive and accessible community.
OUR VISION
Labour Community Services of Peel envisions a Peel Region where under-represented workers are empowered to advocate for themselves and access their workplace rights to support and strengthen their families and communities. Through legal support, leadership development, and partnerships with unions and community organizations, we build the capacity for workers to advance social and economic justice.

United Way – Labour Community Partnership
The United Way–Labour Community Partnership (Peel) brings unions and community organizations together to strengthen both the labour movement and the broader community. Through leadership development, training, and collaborative initiatives such as the Labour Community Advocate program and Period Promise campaign, the partnership builds shared capacity and advances collective efforts to improve the lives of workers and their families across Peel Region.
